Three other teachers and I were honored by the Tuscaloosa County Board of Education Monday night, January 12th, for receiving National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Certification! I worked very hard last year and was so excited that my hard work paid off! I had a lot of support from Kelley, Dr. Lamon (my principal), and a professional group of teachers that worked through and helped me with the long process. I couldn't have done it without them!! Neal Thomas, Kelley, Mom, and Dad came to the Board Meeting with me, and of course Neal Thomas stole the show! He looked precious and was very good--imagine that!!! We have been blessed with a "perfect baby!!"
We think Neal Thomas is getting ready to cut a tooth--he has become a drooler!!! So, we are wearing a lot of stylish bibs!!
